Our production times for each product can vary, ranging from 2-10 business days. Since all of our products are custom-made, we are unable to guarantee an exact ship date. After your order is submitted, production usually begins the following business day.
Once your order has shipped, please allow an additional 2-6 business days for delivery. We will send you a shipping confirmation email with tracking information for each product. Most orders are delivered within 1-2 1/2 weeks from the time the order is placed.
How can I cancel or make changes to my order after it has been placed in?
Once an order is received, production typically begins on the following business day. In order to cancel or make any changes to your order, you must notify us within one business day from the time it was placed.
What if I make a mistake on my measurements?
We understand that measuring can be challenging, and mistakes can happen. That's why we offer an Error Proof Guarantee to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase. If you receive shades that don't fit, even if the mistake was due to incorrect measurements, just notify us within 15 days of delivery. We will remake or fix the shades in the correct size at no charge to you.
The product we remake must be the same as the one you originally ordered, including color.

We will require photo evidence. Additionally, we only ship remade products to the name and delivery address on the original order.

At Made for Shade, we provide all the necessary mounting components for your window shades. However, we do not supply the tools required for installation. To install your shades, you will need a rechargeable drill with a ¼" hex bit, a Phillips screwdriver, a pencil, and a tape measure. These tools will ensure a successful and efficient installation process. Is there a measuring and installation service available for my home or office?
Unfortunately, we do not offer a measuring and installation service at this time. Unfortunately, we do not offer window coverings for arched, curved, or specialty size windows.

When we refer to a "flush mount", we are typically discussing the inside mount depth required for your window opening. Each of our products has specific requirements for a fully flush mount. When a product is able to be flush mounted, it means that the headrail of the window covering will not extend beyond the window opening and into the room.
This can create a sleek and seamless look, and is a popular choice for those who want a clean, modern appearance for their window treatments. To ensure that your product can be flush mounted, please review the specific product requirements and recommendations provided for each item.
Can I rely on the colors shown on my screen to accurately represent the product's colors?

What are blackout shades?

What is the difference between inside and outside mount?
When installing window coverings, you have the option of mounting them inside or outside the window opening.
Inside mount means the blinds or shades will be installed within the recessed area of your window opening, while outside mount means they will be installed on the wall surface outside the window opening.
Outside mount blinds are typically used in windows with limited depth or for better light control by covering the entire window. When ordering outside mount, we recommend adding 3 inches to both the height and width to allow room for brackets (minimum required space is listed in the product specifications) and to provide better light coverage.
