At madeforshade.com, every product is made to order and we require payment before production can begin. Upon placing your order, your credit card will be charged.

To ensure accuracy and avoid errors, we carefully review each order before initiating production. If we have any questions or concerns, we will temporarily hold your order and promptly contact you to resolve any issues.

Our standard production time varies between 2-10 business days, starting from the day after your order is placed. Please note that some orders may ship sooner than the estimated shipping date provided.

Once production is complete, we will ship your order to you.

Madeforshade.com offers rush service for an additional fee to prioritize your order and ensure it is first in line for production. Please contact our customer service team to inquire about this option.

We at madeforshade.com value your satisfaction and want to ensure that you are happy with your purchase.

We offer a 24-hour review period after you place your order before it is sent to our production facility. This allows you time to review your order and make any necessary corrections or last-minute changes to prevent any potential buyer's remorse.

The 24-hour review period begins from the date and time your order was placed and ends after 1 business day (Monday-Friday). This gives you ample time to double-check your order before it moves into production.

At madeforshade.com, we offer an Error Proof Guarantee to give you peace of mind when measuring your own custom window coverings.

If you make a mistake when measuring, we will remake the product to your corrected size specifications at no cost to you, except for a small $10 per product shipping fee.

The only time you may incur a remake charge is if there is a difference in price between the original product and the remake. Please note that the Error Proof Guarantee applies only to necessary remakes of a product due to customer error in measurements.

Requests for product remakes must be made within 15 days of the delivery date of the original product, and the customer must provide photo proof of the product not fitting the window as well as any other requested proof by our support team.

Product remakes will be made with the customer’s corrected measurements applied to the original product ordered only. The product will be remade in the same style, color, and features as the original order.

If you are unsure of your measurements when ordering multiple products, we recommend ordering one item first to ensure ease of installation and correct measurements before ordering for the rest of your windows. Please note that shades with incorrect measurements after remade by the Error Proof Guarantee are not covered.

Any products ordered outside of the recommended product sizes per specifications on our product pages are not covered. Additionally, commercial or dealer orders are not covered under this guarantee and should contact our office to resolve any issues. Please note that no cash refunds are available under this guarantee.

To ensure that you get the exact color you want, we recommend ordering samples prior to placing your order. While we do our best to reproduce and represent product colors accurately on madeforshade.com, color perception may vary depending on the resolution of your monitor or screen. You may request up to 15 free samples at a time, and we will ship them to you free of charge on the next business day via standard ground shipping (typically delivered in 3-5 business days). If you need your samples sooner, we also offer overnight shipping for a fee of $14.99. Please note that the cutoff time for overnight sample orders is 2 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. Any overnight sample orders placed after 11 a.m. EST on Friday will be shipped on the following business day. Please be advised that we do not ship sample orders on weekends.
In the event that merchandise arrives damaged, customers must notify us within 10 business days. Photo evidence of shipping damage is required prior to replacement.
Please note that the colors you see on your screen may differ from the actual colors of our products due to the variances among computer monitors and electronic display devices. If color accuracy is important to you, we strongly recommend requesting free samples before placing your order. Additionally, there may be slight variations between dye lots due to factors such as temperature, time, and water source. To ensure identical matches, we advise ordering all shades for the same room on the same order to be produced in the same batch of dye.
